The Lexington County Chronicle announced that the Lexington County Peach Festival has been voted 2025 Lexington’s Best Community Event by its readers. The Lexington’s Best awards seek to recognize the county’s businesses and cultural institutions that make the county special. The awards featured over 36,000 nominations in 300 categories — ranging from the best restaurants to the best mechanics. With over 150,000 votes cast, the winners were chosen by the public and announced in June 2025.
