Where We Are
The festival is held in Gilbert Community Park, 110 Rikard Circle, Gilbert, SC 29054. Nestled in Lexington County, it’s the heart of our peach celebration!
Traffic & Timing Tips
Gilbert’s small-town charm means fewer traffic lights and two-lane roads, but watch for festival signage directing you to parking and event areas. During the festival, we welcome over 20,000 people to our small town— we encourage you to plan your journey carefully. Use these tips for a smooth journey and plan for event traffic!
Roads close promptly at 9:00 AM for the Peach Parade. Closed streets include: Broad, Crosson, Hampton and Main.
Arrive before 9:00 AM or after 10:30 AM to avoid traffic due to street closures.
Arrive from Two Notch Road via I-20/Juniper Springs for the smoothest traffic flow. This will allow you to arrive into Gilbert from the south and will find parking easily, avoiding road closures and pedestrian areas.
Park in designated parking areas. Please do not park on the side of the road. This increases safety risks and causes congestion.
Driving Directions
Gilbert is easily accessible via I-20 and US-1, making it easy to join the Lexington County Peach Festival on July 4.
From Columbia (25 minutes): Take 1-20 W toward Augusta to Pond Branch Rd, Exit 44. At Exit 44, turn right toward Batesburg/Leesville. Turn right onto Juniper Springs Road. At the 4-way stop, turn left onto Two Notch Road. Turn right onto Main Street. Festival Parking will be on your right, before reaching Gilbert Community Park.
From Lexington (15 minutes): Take US-1 W toward Batesburg/Leesville. Turn left onto Peach Festival Road. This road becomes Main Street when entering Gilbert. Festival Parking can be found up and down Main Street. Main Street closes promptly at 9:00 AM for the parade. Please arrive before 9:00 AM or after 10:30 AM.
From Aiken (35 minutes): Take I-20 E toward Columbia to Pond Branch Rd, Exit 44. At Exit 44, turn left toward Batesburg/Leesville. Turn right onto Juniper Springs Road. At the 4-way stop, turn left onto Two Notch Road. Turn right onto Main Street. Festival Parking will be on your right, before reaching Gilbert Community Park.
Parking
Parking can be found throughout the Town of Gilbert. Locations coordinated by the Peach Festival are indicated on the map below, but other parking spots are available throughout the town. Arrive early for the Peach Parade at 9:30 AM to secure a spot.
Parking fee
Parking is $5.00 per vehicle in all festival-coordinated spots. All festival-coordinated spots are managed and ran by local student groups from Gilbert. 100% of the parking fees are given to the clubs that organize and staff each parking area. We appreciate your support of our local students!
Handicap Parking
Handicap parking can be found at Gilbert Elementary School located at 520 Main Street, Gilbert, SC 29054. This lot is exclusive to handicap individuals and vehicles must display appropriate handicap permits for parking. This lot has a direct wheelchair-accessible entrance to the Gilbert Community Park and the main festival area.
Parking Areas & Map
Gilbert Elementary School Field is located at roughly 614 Main Street. Arrive from Two Notch Road via I-20/Juniper Springs Road.
Old Gilbert High School is located at 314 Main Street. Arrive from Two Notch Road via 1-20/Juniper Springs Road.
Magnolia Tree Lot is located at 113 Main Street. Arrive from US-1 via Peach Festival Road.
Gilbert Middle School is located at 200 Rikard Circle. Limited parking is available only after 4:00 PM.

What to Bring and Tips
What to Bring
Comfortable shoes for walking the park and festival grounds
Sun protection such as hats and sunscreen. It is July in South Carolina — guaranteed to be hot and humid!
Lawn chairs for finding a shady spot in our park to enjoy the live entertainment and other sights and sounds of the festival.
Reusable water bottles to stay hydrated during your visit!
Money for vendors and concessions. Most vendors accept credit card, but if not, ATMs are available on site.
Tips for a Great Day
Arrive early for the parade — the best viewing spots fill up quick!
Check weather forecasts and dress appropriately. This is a rain-or-shine event and is 100% outdoors.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair for listening to live entertainment and fireworks.
Prohibited Items
To ensure a safe, family-friendly, and enjoyable Lexington County Peach Festival on July 4, 2025, please leave these items at home. Violations may result in removal from the festival areas and Gilbert Community Park—let’s keep the peach party welcoming for all!
Tobacco products — smoking is prohibited inside festival grounds (e.g., cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapes).
Silly string (banned to maintain clean park grounds).
Snap poppers and other fireworks
Pets — for the safety of animals as well as festival guests, please leave your furry friends at home.
