THE DONOVAN TWINS are a Folk-Rock band based out of Columbia, South Carolina. Bona fide twins Aidan Donovan (guitar, vocals) and Bennett Donovan (banjo, guitar, vocals) have been playing music together since the age of twelve, crafting their soulful harmonies, honest lyrics, and clever musicianship for around ten years. 2024 welcomed the release of their first singles, “10-4” and “Thieves (Demo Version)” across all major streaming platforms with “10-4” debuting on independent alternative radio.
Howl In The Valley
2:00 PM
In early 2018, Howl In The Valley started as a few Spartanburg, SC musicians sitting in with each other at an open mic on Sunday nights. They quickly evolved into an up-and-coming folk rock trio with powerful, well-crafted songs that stir the soul and tattoo the brain with infectious melodies and memorable lyrics. With relatable songwriting, raw passion and sincere delivery, Howl In The Valley has cultivated their own brand of folk rock that reminds the listener that music is to be felt, not just heard.
Admiral Radio
3:00 PM
Admiral Radio, the award-winning folk/Americana act from South Carolina, is the creative partnership of Coty Hoover and Becca Smith. Named after their old wooden radio, this husband-and-wife team blends heartfelt harmonies, storytelling, and raw sincerity. Having met while waiting tables in South Carolina’s Lowcountry, their sound is straightforward yet powerful—rooted in tight vocal interplay, finely picked guitar and banjo, and the tasteful additions of Kristen Harris on fiddle and Lindsay Emmons on upright bass. Inspired by the everyday, their songs explore life lessons, the quiet hustle of ordinary life, and the dogged optimism that drives it all.
Simply put, Becca and Coty aim to leave listeners better than they found them. With a personal sincerity and honest performance, you might shed a few tears and roll with laughter. The duo has three independently-produced albums under their belt; their debut original record Sounds Like You (2020) and Songs From the Vault (2022), an EP of songs from the public domain. Their latest album, Good Things Take Time (2024), has garnered critical acclaim and national radio play, with tracks like "Look Back and Learn" praised by American Songwriter for its 'power to help and heal'. The group has also earned finalist and first-place honors in prestigious songwriting competitions around the country, including Kerrville NewFolk, the John Lennon Songwriting Competition, and the International Bluegrass Music Association's Official Songwriter Showcase.
Known for their energetic and emotional live shows, Admiral Radio has shared stages with bluegrass legend Del McCoury, folkgrass icon Molly Tuttle, pop-rock sensation Judah & the Lion, and more. From humble beginnings to their growing buzz, Admiral Radio is redefining the folk tradition with every mile down America's backroads.
Michael Haney
4:00 PM
Michael Haney always felt making a career out of making music was out of reach — until 2015, when he was looking for his next gig after a decade as a sports radio producer and on-air personality in his native South Carolina. He moved to Nashville that September. Now signed to Rock Ridge Music, Haney is honing his warm, comforting Americana sound under the guidance of producer Ben Jackson (Josh Ross, Sister Hazel, Aaron Watson) while working with country-pop-rock band Sister Hazel’s merch company, lending his voice to commercials and audiobooks, and booking Nashville Nights, a weekly summertime songwriter series at Steel Hands Brewing in Cayce, South Carolina.
Mac Leaphart Band
5:00 PM
Splintered from the foundations of John Prine, the Rolling Stones, and Jerry Jeff Walker, Mac Leaphart is an artist who puts the song first. He’s filled his career with a mix of hook-heavy roots music, honky-tonk rock & roll, and salty, sharply-detailed songwriting. It’s a sound that finds the Nashville-based troubadour nodding to those who've come before him while also pushing forward into uncharted territory, earning support from a cross-country spread of folk fans and Americana audiences along the way.
Leaphart’s latest release, Motel Breakfast, is an album for roadhouses, dive bars, and half-lit crowds who want to have a good time but also want to listen. If the bulk of the album conjures up images of Leaphart and company onstage, sweating their way through a rough-and-tumble set of American roots music, then the record's title track takes place the morning after the gig. It's the sort of morning that road-worn musicians know all too well, where the thrills of last night's show have all faded away, and all that's standing between you and another five-hour drive is a free motel breakfast.
Genuine to a fault and intentionally rough around the edges, Mac Leaphart’s songs are both witty & poignant, often within the confines of the same song. Leaphart has a rare ability to craft relatable tales with a unique spin, mostly free of Cliches.

It's the sort of morning that road-worn musicians know all too well, where the thrills of last night's show have all faded away, and all that's standing between you and another five-hour drive is a free hotel breakfast. "Motel Breakfast" finds its narrator asking himself some hard questions, wondering if all those highway miles have really added up to anything. He ultimately rededicates himself to the long haul. "They got waffles in the lobby shaped just like Texas / Life is good, let's go get some breakfast," Leaphart sings, delivering one of the best couplets in his entire catalog before leading the band through one last chorus.
There are more miles ahead. More songs to sing. More hotel meals to eat. Mac Leaphart has been there before, and he's not pumping the brakes anytime soon. As he sings in Motel Breakfast's title track, "It’s a long hard road, but it’s a good long ride."
Gritty Flyright and the Music Family
6:00 - 7:30 PM
Among the neon of South Carolina, you’ll find eighth-generation native Wesley Ryan Liston, known professionally as Gritty Flyright - an American singer-songwriter and storyteller whose working-class roots run deeper than Lake Jocassee and whose authenticity is more colorful than Charleston’s Rainbow Row. Whether performing solo or with his band, “The Music Family,” Gritty’s music is often compared to Tyler Childers and Sturgill Simpson, who are huge influences. Gritty beautifully blends classic and outlaw country, with a touch of soul and blues, and reflects his own southern experience (from his upbringing in Spartanburg County to the coast of Charleston, where he currently resides).
Kevin MaC and the Homies
7:30 - 9:00 PM
Kevin is a Virginia-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter who blends classic country roots with a fresh modern edge. He’s opened for icons like Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, and Kip Moore, and brings a soulful voice, infectious energy, and deep storytelling to every performance. Kevin’s songs are full of grit, grace, and the kind of real-life honesty that sticks with you.
He’s also the creator of Tik Pik, the innovative guitar pick you may have seen featured on Shark Tank! He even co-wrote a song with Mark Cuban himself—just one example of how Kevin blends creativity, hustle, and heart in everything he does.
And if that wasn’t enough, he’s also the creator of Elsie Marshall “Shotgun Granny” Bourbon—grab a bottle at www.servedneat.com
