Contestants set to compete in 2015 Lexington County Peach Queen Pageants

The reigning Lexington County Peach Queen, Kaylee Cuthbertson, will crown her successor on Saturday, June 27.  Contestants vying for the title of 2015 Lexington County Peach Queen met with Kaylee and Pageant Chairs, Miriam Matthews and Kathy Hoffman at a tea on June 20.    Vying for the title of this year’s Peach Queen are Jamie Vaughn, Lindsey Roof, Cat Corey, and Meera Rutuparna Bhonsle’.

All peach festival pageants for this year’s 57th Lexington County Peach Festival will be held on June 27 at Gilbert Primary School in the Cafetorium.    The Baby Division pageant starts at 10 a.m.   The Junior Division pageant begins at 2 p.m. The Miss Lexington County Peach Queen pageant begins at 7 p.m.   Admission tickets for each pageant are $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 5 to 12.  Children age 4 and younger are free.

The Lexington County Peach Festival will be celebrated in the Gilbert Community Park on Saturday, July 4th.  With more than 100 arts and crafts vendors, three stages of live entertainment, a parade to start the day and fireworks to celebrate the night, a full day will be available.
