2014 Peach Queen Crowned: Kaylee Michelle Cuthbertson

Kaylee Michelle Cuthbertson, daughter of Steve and Shelly Cuthbertson of Lexington, was crowned the 2014 Miss Lexington County Peach Queen and photogenic winner on June 28.  Kaylee is a former Miss Young Peach, Miss Teen Peach, and the first Miss River Bluff High School.

The 2014 Peach Queen's Court includes first runner-up, Sarah Elizabeth Atkerson, daughter of Dale and Belinda Atkerson of West Columbia; and second runner-up, Meera Bhonsle`, daughter of Rutu and Nicole Bhonsle` of Lexington.

A special tradition for reigning Peach Queens is to present peaches to the Governor each June.  The 2013 Peach Queens presented peaches to Governor Nikki Haley on June 26.   The queens making the presentation were Miss Wee Peach Sarah-Katherine Nicole Cantrell, Miss Little Peach Gracie Bowers, Miss Young Peach Madelyn Monroe Bacon, Miss Teen Peach Cadie Brooke Hall, and Miss Lexington County Peach Queen Micaela Rae Campbell.

Miriam Matthews and Kathy Hoffman served once again as co-chairs of the Lexington County Peach Festival Pageant Committee.  All pageant contestants must be residents of Lexington County.  This year’s pageant competitions were held at Gilbert Primary School on June 28.
