Become a Vendor at the Arts & Crafts Exhibition

General Information

The 2020 Peach Festival will be held on Saturday, July 4 in Gilbert, SC.

Festival Activities begin at 9:30 AM (Parade Start) and end at 10:00 PM with the fireworks show. Vendors should be in place by 8:00 AM and are free to leave at any time after 5:00 PM. No sales before 8:00 AM, please.

• Spaces with electric power are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.

• Power outlets for air-conditioning are not available.

• The deadline for reserving a space is June 26, 2020. No applications will be accepted after this date.

• No refunds will be given.

Vendor Space Details

Our vendor booths are a standard 12' x 12' at a cost of $75 per space. An adjoining area may be purchased for an additional $60. The rental fee also includes the cost of a required town business license to sell merchandise during the festival. Some spaces have an electrical outlet; those spaces are made available on a first-come, first serve basis. Electrical outlets are 120 volts and will not support air-conditioning. If you plan to be a vendor, you must furnish your own tables, chairs, tents, etc.

SC Department of Revenue Requirements for Retail Vendors

Per the request of SC Department of Revenue (SCDOR), we are required to collect and submit the business name and license numbers to SCDOR prior to the festival. A current retail business license is required to be on hand and on display during the festival. Additionally, sales tax should be collected for all goods sold at a rate of 7%.

Prohibited Items

Note: We will not allow the sale of any items pertaining to alcohol, drugs, or sex. The sale of real and/or novelty items promoting the use of tobacco, tobacco products and vapor products; food, drinks, silly string, Snap Poppers and Counterfeit goods are strictly prohibited. Anyone found in violation will be asked to leave and will not be allowed to participate in future events.

Parking

Spaces on the side of the street with an electrical outlet have room for one vehicle to park behind your assigned area. All other vendors will be given a parking permit that will allow you to park for free at the festival, however; there is limited parking in the vending area. Vendors will be allowed to park temporarily to unpack and set up their booth. Vendors must then move their vehicle to a designated parking area.

Vendor Application

Upon receipt of your application and vendor fee, you will be assigned a space and the number for that space will be sent to you. The vendor booths line the street that runs through the center of the Gilbert Community Park; therefore, vendors are located in our most heavily-visited area.
