The Lexington County Peach Festival boasts its three unique stages in the Gilbert Community Park for sources of live entertainment. Bands, soloists, dancers, and others from all over the southeastern United States come to perform in front of our festival-goers. This year, the Lexington County Peach Festival is proud to welcome the following performers to Gilbert, SC for the 2008 Peach Festival:

Mama's Home Cookin' was established in 1974. The group includes eight musicians consisting of drums, bass, guitar, keyboard, sax, and trumpet players. The group primarily plays dance music consisting of beach, rhythm and blues, oldies, country, rock and roll, and top 40. |
| ShagTime |

ShagTime has brought national recognition to South Carolina and it's state dance "the shag" with their records available on Shag Power Records. London's New Musical Express Magazine, similar to our Rolling Stone Magazine, featured ShagTime in an article on Beach Music. "Move Records" released ShagTime's beach and shag classic "Mr. Beach" in London. The ShagTime band has performed their unique blend of rhythm and blues and disco/soul favorites to over 13 million people throughout the southeast. |
